In the new global world international relations have anarchical character and differ in big uncertainty. As a result each participant of international relations is forced to take steps, proceeding from unpredictability of behavior of other participants. In the modern world quite often there are political conflicts, for example, Russian-Ukrainian conflict. When covering such conflicts, it is important to make unbiased and fair reflection in media to give to a society a chance to build the point of view which will be based on the correct data.
The purpose of this study is to analyze reflection of Crimean crisis in Russian and Ukrainian Media. Media have monopoly for information and therefore define priorities of events. Every day around the world there is a huge number of events. But only that part which media enter into the sphere of attention is brought to a mass review. The political conflict in Ukraine is far from permission; the Russian, Ukrainian, and also world media continue to analyze its contents and the prospects of end. At the same time the analysis is carried out taking into account the political positions taken to these or those media on parties of the conflict. Often authors of the materials draw conclusions which are determined by the official estimates represented by government institutions of the countries in which the relevant media are functioning .
Considering specific features of media coverage of ‘‘the Crimean problem’’, we can see significant influence of a political component which takes the central place in the analysis of these or those events which were taking place around the Crimea and its transition under the Russian jurisdiction. Thus, the political discourse very closely interacts with journalistic.
The official position of the governments on problems of the current agenda plays a key role when forming a position of mass media. The world community fixedly watches the events with understanding that the future of all planet depends on further succession of events in this region. Media became the main tool of a manipulation public opinion. They instill in masses the general values, behavioral models and norms. Them considerably increases in modern democratic process, and special value gets the level of their political culture which provides the weighed dialogue of various political forces. We can conclude that public consciousness represents the special social phenomenon differing own, peculiar only to him in characteristics, specific regularities of functioning and development. The structure of public consciousness includes political consciousness which represents one of the main forms of public consciousness, arising together with emergence of the political power and statehood. To make impact on public consciousness handling technologies are applied. Manipulation limits public opinion are defined, first of all, by already developed mass consciousness, stereotypes and views of people. The manipulation can be carried out through process of production of news which includes collecting the facts, their filtration, interpretation and giving.
In the information environment information which adequately reflects the existing world, and also the deformed, distorted information at the same time functions. It is caused both by subjectivity of people, and purposeful use of information processes at achievement of own purposes and ignoring of damage to other people caused by the actions...
